| It's been said that Police Officers are the barbed wire that separate the sheep from the wolves. Every day they confront evil that most people know nothing about, and as it has already been stated on our home page, this takes a toll on our officers. God has called us to take the simple message of the gospel to these officers, so how do we accomplish this? For the first two years of this ministry our primary method was to partner with local churches who wished to honor their local officers in a service. To God's glory we have seen a number of people come to Christ in these services and we will continue doing them as the Lord leads. However, that is no longer our primary mode of operation. Instead of focusing on bringing the officers to us in a church, we are now going to them. Much like the Apostle Paul did in his missionary journeys, we are following carefully planned routes. At each stop we seek to establish a relationship with the local officers while giving out Law Enforcement New Testaments and tracts. The New Testaments our ministry provides are 5" x 7" in size. The covers are in full color, with a badge on the front, and our ministry information on the back. More importantly the plan of salvation is outlined inside. As we travel, one of our primary goals is to sign as many officers up as possible for our outreach "LEOs 4 HIM". Through this outreach we can have an ongoing relationship with each officer long after we leave in either leading them to Christ, or assisting them in their spiritual growth, while also pointing them to a good local church. Not taking away from any other ministry, it is also our desire to establish local chapters of this outreach where a leader can hold regular Bible studies for the officers, and to provide them the materials to do so as we are able. One of the most important benefits in operating this way is that we are available for the Lord to direct us and open doors as He chooses. An example of this is that we can now respond to incidences where an officer has been killed or injured, or the department has experienced some other traumatic situation. In answering the call, our mission can best be summed up in just three words: Availability, Sensitivity, and Obedience, all for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. We would greatly appreciate your prayers for our family, our travel, and our work. |

| Brian and Tammy Stewart have been an important part of our ministry here at Mikado Baptist Church for several years. Brian has a passion for God and a heart for ministry! While serving in police work, God spoke to Brian through His Word about the need for someone to share the truth with the men and women in the front line of duty. Brian has been there; he knows the "turf" and has put his life on the line to protect others. God is using Brian and Tammy in a great way in a very unique ministry. As far as I know there are not many missionaries that are targeting those who serve in law enforcement. I would highly encourage you to consider having them in your church to share their burden. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me personally. Pastor Rusty Smith Mikado Baptist Church 478-781-2324 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is with great confidence and enthusiasm, that I can recommend Bro. Brian Stewart to other pastor's and churches. He indeed stays focused on the "Simple Message" of the gospel. He has a genuine passion for souls and especially for those in law enforcement. God used him in our community this year as we sponsored our first annual "Law Enforcement Day." We recognized our city, county, and state personnel on Sunday morning and Bro. Brian brought a great evangelistic message. We also sponsored a special dinner for them on Monday night where he again spoke to them and their needs more personally. We are still seeing positive results from his ministry in our community. Our people at Spring Branch Baptist have grown to love him and his family, and are looking forward to our next Law enforcement Day. I also called on him without hesitation to preach for me when I had to be away from my church. He is committed to the Word of God and faithfully teaching and preaching it. I hold Bro. Brian in high esteem as a man of God, and a missionary to those who serve and protect us on a daily basis. Pastor Terry Reagin Spring Branch Baptist Church Baxley, GA. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bro. Brian, This is just a note to say a big "Thank you" for helping us in the law enforcement appreciation day we had this fall. Because of your advice and the information you sent to us, we had a great time of worship, recognizing the local lawmen and their families. I appreciate the way you shared the gospel with all of us. Hopefully we planted some seeds and will see the fruits of our joint efforts for God's glory. I' m sure that some of these law enforcement personnel have never been thanked or treated to an appreciation dinner, as we take their service for granted. I know we can never properly thank them for their service to our community, but maybe this will be a reminder to them that there are people who do appreciate what they do. I commended our church folks for their response to this special time in preparing food and fellowshipping with our visitors. Thank you again and please know we are praying for you, your ministry and your family as you travel this country preaching to those who protect our cities and counties. Because of Him, Pastor Steve Camp Old Bethel Baptist Church Chickamauga, GA --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We at Trinity Baptist had Brother Brian Stewart come to our church for a Law Enforcement Day in 2007. We had representatives from the Thomasville City Police, Thomas County Sheriffs Department, and the Local post of the Georgia State Patrol. He also came back recently and shared a update with our church. Bro. Brian gave his personal testimony and his call to his ministry to his fellow comrades in Law Enforcement. He then presented a clear presentation of the gospel. Brother Brian has a compassionate heart for Law Enforcement and a burden for the burdens they have in the line of duty. He will go into the local law enforcement departments and talk to them personally and share his burden. You will meet no sweeter family than the Stewart family. I highly recommend them to your church. Pastor Ken Burgess Trinity Baptist Church Thomasville, GA. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brian Stewart and his family are truly devoted to seeing souls saved among the police departments in the United States. Their ministry is a much needed help to officers and their families who are hurting and without Christ. Our church supports this ministry and we are greatly impressed with the work and the heartfelt concern that Bro. Brian has for the law enforcement officers of our great nation. Pastor Eric B.
